The terms on which we provide this website and our education consulting services.
Last reviewed: February 2026
These terms apply to your use of this website and to the services provided by Edvance Pathways ("Edvance Pathways", "we", "us"). By using the site or sending us an enquiry, you accept these terms.
We are an international education consultancy. We help students and professionals choose courses, prepare and submit applications to education providers, and settle into study abroad — with a focus on New Zealand.
In New Zealand, only a licensed immigration adviser, a registered lawyer, or a person who is exempt may give immigration advice for a fee or reward, under the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007.
Edvance Pathways is not a licensed immigration adviser and does not give immigration advice. Nothing on this site is immigration advice. Where your enquiry involves immigration, we will refer you to a Licensed Immigration Adviser, who will contract with you directly.
You can check any adviser's licence on the Immigration Advisers Authority register.
Decisions on admission, scholarships, visas and residence are made by education providers and by Immigration New Zealand — not by us. We cannot and do not guarantee that any application will succeed, or how long a decision will take. Any indication we give about likelihood or timing is an opinion based on the information you have given us, not a promise.
You agree that the information and documents you provide are true, complete and your own. Applications supported by false or misleading information can be declined, and can lead to bans on future applications. We may stop acting for you if we believe information you have given us is false.
Our education consulting and placement service is provided at no charge to students, because we are remunerated by the education providers we place students with. Where any fee would apply to you, we will tell you in writing and obtain your agreement before any work begins. Fees charged by education providers, immigration advisers, Immigration New Zealand and other third parties are separate and are your responsibility.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity carried out under your login. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without your permission. We may suspend or close accounts that are used in breach of these terms.
Accommodation listings on this site are supplied by their advertisers. We do not own, inspect, manage or endorse the properties listed, and we are not a party to any tenancy. Verify any property and its advertiser before paying money or signing anything.
We try to keep this site accurate and current, but course details, entry requirements, fees and immigration rules change often. Content is general information only, is not personal advice, and should be confirmed with the relevant provider or authority before you rely on it.
The text, images and design of this site belong to us or our licensors. You may read, print and share pages for your own personal use. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.
This site links to other websites, including education providers and government agencies. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those Acts apply to you.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim connected with our services is limited to the fees you have actually paid us in respect of the matter giving rise to the claim.
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
If something goes wrong, email [email protected] and we will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 20 working days. Complaints about immigration advice should also be raised with the adviser and may be taken to the Immigration Advisers Authority.
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you use the site is the version that applies, so please check the "last reviewed" date above.
